In this Lux vlog, I agrues that one cannot accept different truths. I strongly recommend you to find 18 minutes of your time to sit back with a cup of tea or coffee and view this video. I am sorry that I could not make this video shorter, because there are a lot things that need to be said. But, please do find some of your time to view this video.

Please click the link and scroll down to find an online review on 'Case for Faith' by Corey Lutrell:
http://www.amazon.com/Case-Faith-Journalist-Investigates-Christianity/dp/0310234697
This review alone helped seal my decision not to buy the book. I am the same one that posted the 'which one is right' question along with other questions - still awaiting your compelling answers.
Sorry, but I don't think I fear the truth. I welcome it, but the truth is there is no truth. I like your Elephant analogy and how you intellectualize the religion framework through which you expose and box your audience in to your line of thinking. That's a skill to have, but I do not fall for it, sorry.
Again, I commend you for your devotion to Christianity. You are a brilliant young man, and the kind I'd love to have a pint of beer with and debate on worldly subjects with no hard feelings.
Looking forward to your future vlogs. By the way, congrats on your acceptance to the University of Edinburg. I figure you are going there, right? Good luck with your life endeavors.

I have one comment about ten commandmant and serving only one GOD and no other gods. True. But, bible is clear that Jesus is God. Jesus, holy trinity and God is one. Jesus is not considered a god. Jesus is God.
philosophy and religion or faith in God can and do clash.

Your vlog speak with your opinion of what you belief. For me to look at Rev Jill and yours, I see the different. I believe what Rev Jill means by no religion or all religion: image yourself that you are God then what religion will GOD be? Of course God is no religion and the word, religion is made by people, not GOD! Or also God is all religions that God love all of them no matter who they are! If GOD choose one religion, not all which means God doesn't love others except one religion, not make sense because of GOD's LOVE! God loves all brothers and sisiters therefore God is no religion or all religions!!The powerful truth is LOVE!

Hmm. Yes, I do have a strong position on that issue. I’m actually planning on talking about that on my next lux vlog. So, look forward to it! Thanks for the link! This link will be helpful for my next lux vlog!

I went to the link you gave me and carefully read all of Corey Lutrell’s comments. What do I think of his comments? I must say that he wrote quite an excellent statement. However, what I noticed is that he seems to be presenting all of the arguments that he knows instead of focusing on the book, because not everything he talks about are the main discussions of The Case for Faith. For example, he widely discusses issues related to the evidence that supports Jesus was resurrected. Yes, this was discussed in the second chapter of the book; however, Lee Strobel points out that his first book, The Case for Christ, greatly extends on this issue. Thus I would strongly recommend for Corey Lutrell to read The Case for Christ FIRST. As Renne Overholt said, a comment after Corey’s, The Case for Christ is a lot better than The Case for Faith. The reason for this is that The Case for Christ helps us to see how everything written in the biographies of Jesus is true, how Christianity possesses more credibility than every other religion or belief, how Jesus is the self-proclaimed Son of God, et cetera. If Corey Lutrell decides not to read The Case for Christ because he thinks reading the 7-page summary of The Case for Christ in Appendix A of The Case for Faith is enough, then he is wrong…that summary is not enough for sure.
About agnosticism, I believe he overlooks the fact that Lee Strobel successfully answers many of the objections that agnostics present. Strobel simply does not use the word “agnosticism” often, but this does not mean he is avoiding confronting the issues agnosticism introduces. He is actually answering them in every chapter of the book! If it is big deal for him that Lee Strobel does not frequently use the word “agnosticism”, then I am sorry and feel bad for him that he would long over such a thing. Yes, Lee Strobel DOES confront the questions agnosticism asks.
Let me quote Corey: “Without getting into too many specifics, the evidence he uses in the Case for Faith comes from obviously Christian sources - which are surely biased. This is equivalent to reporting on terrorist acts by only interviewing terrorists. Certainly one's reporting would be validating reasons for such atrocities. To be clear I am only drawing this distinction to make the point - a true investigative reporter would look to include both sides of the story and present facts as opposed to opinion. Had Strobel intended to provide a balanced view, he would have used non-christian scientists and believers of various faiths.” Once again, he neglects reality. As a matter of fact, Lee Strobel shows up to every interview with unbiased questions and sources. He almost never stops playing devil’s advocate at the interviews he conducts in all three of his books, The Case for Christ, The Case for Faith, and The Case for Creator. Lee Strobel also widely uses Charles Templeton’s presentations from his book Farewell to God: My reasons for rejecting the Christian Faith (Sometime next week, I will make a lux vlog showing how this man, Templeton, deserves no credibility for his book). In regards to interviewing nobody but theologians, who in the world are better sources than theologians who have studied almost every religion known to humankind deeply, have been brutally barraged by countless arguments, have been kicked in the groin with fierce objections, have had Christianity touch all five of their senses, have experienced more spiritual journeys than almost everyone, and, in fact, probably have a better understanding of religions, apologetics, and theology than Gandhi, Buddha, and other ancient people we highly respect, because they lacked appropriate collegiate studies updated resources, new books, and so on. Really, I’m very impressed with how Lee Strobel balances unbiased and biased sources in his books.
Corey points out that Lee Strobel fails to present enough evidence to support that macroevolution is not true. Ironically, Corey himself did not present enough evidence to support that Lee Strobel is wrong and he is right. I don’t see any sources in his statements, but I do see a lot of sources in Lee Strobel’s.
You probably would disagree with some of Lee Strobel’s reasoning, but please don’t make this a reason for not reading this incredible book. This is for you to make your own decision.
The leap of faith? This is what our lives are about!
You and me chatting about other things? That would be awesome too! I look forward to talking with you more.

Yes, I agree with you about holy trinity. Jesus IS God.

You have a very good observation! Quite honestly I agree with you that, according to the Bible, God has no religion, because He knows the truth! What is my religion? I hate to say, “My religion is Christianity”, because I want to treat the whole concept of Christianity as the one truth, not merely one of several truths. I just say, “My religion…” to communicate my specific beliefs to people with distinct beliefs. You are right about God loving everyone. Yes, every one of us is His children. In return, he expects us to love Him the right way. What is the right way? Our own way? Does God says to us, “Have it your way and I will be happy no matter what!” What kind of parent does that! As a parent, would you say to your children, “Have it your way and I will be happy no matter what. Sex before marriage? Have fun! Drinking beer, even though you are underage? Drink on! You hit him back because he hit you first? Why didn’t you beat him down?!” Would you? Because God loves people so much, He gives us laws to follow and principles to hold on to. My point is that God loving all of his children definitely does not mean he puts discipline aside and proclaims that every one of us can have our own way.

I say I am a believer and they ask me about it. I say Jesus is my Lord. Lutheran, Baptist, Calvinist, Catholic, etc... I just follow Bible. I attended a deaf church when I lived in Rochester, NY and I started going to one church here in Fishers, IN. But we have to remember what Jesus told Samaritian woman (John 4:5-42)... that we can worship God ANYTIME, ANYWHERE... So I spend time with my Christian friends, read Bible daily, etc.
Anyway, I just want to say that when Lee Strobel's first book (The Case for Christ) came out, I picked it up and read and made my decision to accept Jesus into my life after reading it. That book is based on FACTS.
