Romanian Sign Language Bible Translation Team

About the Team:

Deaf International was able to meet with several deaf leaders in Bucharest and founded the Romanian Sign Language Bible Translation team. The team will start with six people, and they will meet together two times a year in Brasov, Romania before final draft filming. We don’t know when the team will actually start getting into the real action, but for now they will receive resources for translating, pick signers for the books of Ruth and John, and have these signers practice signing their respective books. Lord willing, we hope to send people to Romania to perform official training with the team, and conduct final draft filming of the Books of John and Ruth this coming summer.
