Russian Sign Language Bible Translation Team
About the Team:
This past summer, Deaf International founded the Russian
Sign Language Bible Translation team and sent Noah Buchholz
(executive director)
to Moldova to train the team for two weeks. Through the training process, the
team finished the first drafts of the entire Book of Ruth, and the first three
chapters of John. Final draft filming of Ruth and chapters 1-8 of John is being
held during the third and fourth weeks of October. Before Noah left Moldova, the
team created an organized schedule that will enable them to continue the
translation process without Noah being present. However, the Russian Sign
Language Bible Translation team will permanently be part of Deaf International
so that they can receive expert advice, financial sponsorship, and appropriate
supervision of the project. Deaf International will continue to send experts to
the team. Please pray that Deaf International will discover God’s plan in this
area.
