In Romania, the deaf people communicate in Romanians Sign Langue. Grace(left) and Sherie(second from left) spent a lot of time learning Romanian Sign Language so that they could be more effective and productive in their minisitry to the deaf Romanians.
Marta was one of two interpreters on the mission team fluent in spoken Romanian. She lives in Romania and is hoping to commit her future to serving deaf people in the name of Jesus.
There were 43 deaf campers and eight members of the mission team.
Everyday for 45 minutes, all of the campers found a place of solitude where they could meet and talk only with God, their father.

The deaf and hearing of First Baptist Church of Olathe, Kansas donated hundreds of personal care products such as deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The products were packed into fifty bags to give the deaf campers who never have the convenience of these simple items.
All of the campers were elated to receive their gifts. Praise the Lord for First Baptist Church!

All of the campers were divided into four groups and were given the task of performing a skit of a specific chapter in the Bible. The groups practiced their skits and then performed for each other.

The deaf camp took two field trips. One was on a wheel wagon, and the other was to the famous Bran Castle home of Dracula where, despite living in Romania, none of the deaf campers had ever been able to afford to visit.
